Jeanette and Paul are considerate and friendly hosts. We were offered delicious, hot scones with jam and cream on arrival and were made to feel welcome in their home. The room was clean, comfortable and it was packed full of history about the town. We had access to streaming services and an expansive DVD collection. They have a massive common area, within which to enjoy drinks and a beautiful view. The accomodation is a 5 minute drive/30 minute walk uphill to the Mt Brown lookout where we watched the sunset. There were lots of options available with the continental breakfast. Can't fault a thing; a truly relaxing home, away from home.

This is the best and most friendliest BnB I've ever been to. Arrived and was greeted and shown to room and had scones with jam and cream brought to the room. The room is beautiful with parts is history in there. The extras in the room and bathroom were a wonderful touch that there was nothing you could ever need. I've never seen so much choice for tea and coffee either. Such attention to detail, and they have put so many tourist brochures in the room. You have an area undercover outside to sit with a table tennis table. Inside their home is a huge range of DVD's that your able to use. Breakfast was delicious and you would never go hungry. Inside their home is a huge amount of antiques which I loved looking at. I would recommend staying here and I am actually booked in again and will keep coming back
We received a warm welcome from Janette and Paul who immediately made us feel comfortable. They showed us to our room and made sure that all we needed to know was either told or answered. We were impressed by the incredible attention to detail and the generosity. We could see that they spend a lot of time making fine-tuning the guests' experience. Lots of little things makes a big difference when combined. We will gladly recommend them to anyone. But please don't all book a room, we'd like to go back soon.
We had the most relaxing time ever, soo friendly Jeanette and Paul could not do enough for us The food was amazing afternoon tea was awesome. They advised us where to go for walks and meals on places to eat. We found the service and the hospitality amazing The location is great. 3min drive, 20min to the town. Some great walking trails nearby. The walk to the lookout for some awesome views, 25min walk from the B&B We would certainly recommend a stay here
We went to york to star gaze and found this bed and breakfast to be in the perfect location to do so, no bright city lights. Jeanette and Paul where lovely to deal with they even prepared afternoon snacks and cooked us breakfast. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We have never stayed in a B&B before so it was something different for us our hosts Jeanette and Paul were great the bedroom and onsuite had everything you could possibly need and our breakfast was great such a lovely couple we will return there and have told friends about it thank you.
The b&b is absolutely perfect. We have our private entrance to the unit, it's not just a room, have a lounge room, private separate toilet and bathroom. The host is very friendly and offer a free minibar for the guest, having health bar, chocolate, wine, beer and soft drinks, a plate of fresh fruits, all free. Also very grateful there's a big plates of sandwiches and pastry upon arrival. Breakfast is big and delicious. The bed is so comfortable and it located very quiet place. Few minutes drive to town centre. Very satisfied to stay in the b&b. Highly appreciated.
Beautiful surroundings, lovely down to earth hosts who make you feel like part of the family, absolutely gorgeous suite. Will definitely stay again without hesitation.
