Upstairs is always oversubscribed, and for good reason, it's great for watching the world go by and have a relaxing drink. Food was very good and reasonable. Decor is bike inspired rustic.

God this place is average.... My Last visit I said... "Good but the fish finger sandwiches are one to avoid... Cheap soggy fish fingers; actually pretty rank... Other stuff pretty good"... Well I was wrong crab and lobster burger... Uninspired would be a complement... Soggy chips, Burger bland and tasteless, bun... Definitely not gourmet and the salad... Not good. "chef" good at multi-tasking though... She can text, surf and gossip while cooking...

There is a great feel to this place. Good proper Coffee and freshly prepared food. Funky ideas for seating and tables. Great use of bike bits for decoration. I wish it was more local but something to look forward to on our York trips!

Good cake. Good coffee. Helpful, friendly staff. It's fun to sit there and look around at all the reuse of cycle parts. Oh and good cake.

Yes its nice looking and the food is not bad at all. But its ever so slow to get served, even if they are not busy. Coffees and drinks they seem fine with but any food and you got to be so very patient. Also the prices are top end.
