Really good place for traveling
I stopped here on my return road trip from Vancouver to Ontario; then back: the first half with Jack Handy; the return by myself...so aside from a gravelly driveway with a bounty of pot-holessomething that you don't experience in Vanbut something that I'm well aware of growing up in Northern Ontario; (the ice machine on the ground floor was out of order): this was one of best overall values I've ever experienced! It was located adjacent to most amenities, and the room was spacious, clean and pleasant. The owners were also polite and gracious...great place to stay!
Friendly, kind staff, good rooms for a basic one night stay. Unfortunately during our stay the restaurant area was under renovation but there are restaurants right across the street so not a big deal. Wonderful service.
Dirty,tub was full of mold,fridges were not plugged in,no heat
Rooms are quite big and price is very affordable. Beds are big and comfortable. But fridge is very small and no breakfast.
Not impressed by having to run the hot water for five minutes before it becomes hot enough to shower - such a waste of water. Imagine every guest doing that every day. Fix the plumbing! We had a mix up at check in but it was resolved rather quickly. Owners are nice, hotel could use some work.
