Had to get a bank draft, everything went quick and easy. Good service and friendly people.
When I wanted to talk about a business account, and a business loan to invest in inventory, they didn't even wanted to listen to what my business is. Just not interested. They asked me if I would have a job (employment), otherwise they wouldn't talk to me about a business loan at all. How imbecile. Now, just 4 weeks ago, when I wanted to take the better offer from another bank for the remainder of my mortgage, a 6-figure CAD check sent from my other bank to Scotiabank obviously never showed up there, but has been cashed already 2 weeks ago. When ever you have a problem, or a question, and you email them, you receive soothing words, and apologies. No solutions. Now it finally is not only my mortgage what moves to a different bank, it is my entire personal banking and my business revenue as well. Good bye Scotiabank.
Yup had something comeback on a cheque from a customer. I said it would taken care the next week . Then after that they closed my account out.
