Very nice stay at Toukiya, the price was very reasonable for the quality. The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from Eiheiji zen monastery. The room was comfortable and the food served (dinner and japanese breakfast) excellent. I'd give this place 4/5 stars because the walls are thin, so depending on your neighbors you will have a hard time sleeping (mine were very loud). Also, there is only one common bathing room for the whole hotel, I was able to shower without waiting but that depends on the other guests, too. The hosts do not speak English but we were able to communicate well thanks to Google translate. Overall very good stay and experience at Eiheiji :)!

元気の良い女将さんとおばあちゃんが対応してくれます。メニューは普通かな。愛想が良くて、ほんわかするお店です。

ホームページのメニューとかなり乖離が有ります。名物と言われる蕎麦も普通の食堂並み。土産店としては界隈どの店も同じ様な感じですね。
とてもきれい。
