They are always very friendly, professional and helpful. I do quite a bit of baking and this is my go to spot for reasonably priced supplies. They are also rarely out of stock of the items I use and it's nice to have a reliable store when needed.

This is an interesting store. The perfect way to describe it is if Sam's Club and Save-A-Lot had a baby, it would be this store. The prices are higher than competitors yet there are some unique quirky things here that you can't find in many other Michigan stores. I come here for the Chicago style Italian Beef (I'm from Chicago and it's pretty authentic).

They have stuff other stores have....Not food industry stuff. So if the truck comes and not have something you ordered, you must re order. Dish soap for machine....not Calgon....I need the canister for my machine which is common. But they said next shipment....not cool at all.

I shop here now for bulk purchases because they keep it stocked and it is clean. Also because when I order online, their inventory system is so up to date I know immediately if they have what I have ordered when I hit the order button. No surprises when I go pick up the grocery like some other stores. It's rare that they don't have what I need. They bring it out to your car like every other store. They always have meat too which is so nice. I gave up on Kroger having everything and use Gordon's instead.

Not everyone can finish off a 5 pound can of pudding or green beans in one sitting but if you can, this is the place for you. Not everything is in jumbo size nor is everything here cheaper. Every GFS store I have been in has been extremely clean and well organized. Plus every employee I have interacted with has been knowledgeable and pleasant. This makes for a good shopping trip no matter if you buy anything or not.
