You have to book first only through phone calls and visit there during these days. Only a limited number of people can come inside at one time. But the place is a really beautiful place and all the staff are nice.

Was closed when we visited midday so only got to see outside vbit still beautiful
We went there at night and it was already closed, so we just took a walk around it. The place is incredible, it really takes you back centuries and you wonder how things were back then. Some parts of it seem to have been destroyed and some more modern pieces took their place, but they look great anyway. It is really really well maintained.
Amazing fortress/castle/palace. This also has got wonderful Mudejar features. It's very well spent hour or so walking through the interiors and around the small courtyard garden.
I have been running tours in Spain many years now and finally got to go. It did not disappoint! Not as spectacular as the Alhambra but it is way way less crowded and is even free! Definitely worth a visit
