We’ve seen Belchite for the first time on national geographic. The ruines of Belchite are in the top 10 of old ruines/town in the world. Tickets are only available on the internet. There is 3 times in a day a visit from 1u30 . It’s a must see urban town. We were very impressed about the town and the story. A very good guide told us the sad story. You can take photos as much as you want. Also translation is possible in different languages. Parking nearby. It was for me a dream to see it but definitely worth!

Breathtaking ruins of a small town devastated by the Spanish Civil War in 1937. The battle lasted two weeks and took the life of around 5,000 people. Entrance to the ruins is only via guided tours at daytime (for an account of what happened in the battle) or nightime (for stories of the people who lived there and misteries surrounding the ruins). Guided tours are 10, but it's totally worth the price, and the contribution goes to keep the ruins for future generations to see the horrors of war. A must-go.
