Best health care team at a hospital I’ve ever experienced in my life ,ever ...period! Marie Johnson RN is a friendly,incredibly professional and empathetic and genuine RN.Marie made me feel like she was genuinely listening and helped me feel at ease. Evan Reaume my PA took the time to explain my previous scan reports to me. Evan Reaume was quick to take action based on my symptoms.He was very informative and thorough and professional. Hope from radiology came to get me for my chest X-rays she is a very friendly,professional, attentive and on top of her game! My ultrasound tech was friendly and professional (I forgot her name ) Christen RT came in and hooked me up with my Zio Patch unit she was professional and kind and friendly. This whole health care team was just a cohesive, professional, caring ,great group of people! My ER visit was top notch! If I ever need to make a trip to the ER in the future, my family will for sure choose Spectrum Zeeland Hospital! My experience was a pure delight ! I was made to feel like my care was the number one priority ! I appreciate each one of you that put forth such effort to care for me. I feel blessed to have been able to have received this level of care by such a wonderful group of people! THANK YOU!

Took my daughter in for breathing problems. We were second in line when we got there because we got in line online and it still took 2 hours see a doctor! Maybe they should hire more doctors who actually understand the modern systems so they can properly operate an urgent care facility. This was not urgent care by any standard. I complained when I opened the door and witnessed a guy checking out who was still in the waiting room when we were called back. He was there before me but we were ahead of him because we got in line online. When I complained they said he was here before you, so I said he was behind us in line. When the PA named Ruth finally came in several minutes later, it took her 5 minutes to look over my daughter so idk why a clinic with 4 exam rooms could possibly take that long. Of course she seemed very offended that I would complain, yet she gave me an excuse. She said the check in doesn’t tell her who checked in online and who was a walk-in. But that doesn’t add up because we were called back to the exam room before him therefore we should have been seen first. So either there is a huge flaw in their procedures or Ruth just doesn’t understand how it works, or the receptionist for that matter. Then she asked if we wanted to speak to the supervisor. Let’s see, I have been here 2 hours with a 4 year old after being second in line upon arrival. Nope... I’ll be leaving. It’s too bad because we are long time spectrum patients and have always received much better service at the Grand Rapids locations. This was our first and last Zeeland hospital visit

Specifically called the Urgent Care phone number to check their policy for being seen and was told that they would see the patient as long as we were inside before 10pm. We arrived at 9:45pm and they told us to go to Emergency Room since they would not be able to see us and get us diagnosed before 10pm.
