We started the home building process with another company. After that company started to add upgrades that were pretty standard items, we started to look around at other builders. We loved how easy Zeilman James was to work with. Their standard items were all considered upgrades at other home builders. They explained each step of the way what was going to happen next. They would meet us at job site if we had questions. Tony was our project manager and was great to work with. The office staff was polite and responsive if we needed to make changes to flooring, cabinets etc. We love our home and are very happy.

Quality home. I like the 2x6 exterior walls and plywood wall sheathing. Much better than foam board walls. The builder has a good eye for detail. I had to properly slope the z-flashing above the garage door and added a small gap between the j channel and z flashing. Not too big of a problem. Could have used a couple piers and support to stiffen up the floors under the master bedroom. I'd build with them again.
Building our forever Dream Home. The progress is timely and professional! The plan was exactly (minor modifications) what we wanted. Everyone has been helpful. Can't wait to move in.
