Such a fantastic hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The food was exceptional and a big thanks to our waiter Antonio. Minibus to the ski lift was great but it isn't too far when your walking back after a day on the mountain. The spa and pool are a great way to wind down after some skiing too.

Cosy hotel, staff very friendly, knowledgeable and all spoke English. Close to town centre but situated in a reasonably quiet area. Clean and secure and does great meals. Indoor swimming pool with high pressure water jets to massage your body. Hotel is situated a little distance from the lake.
We arrived late at night, but the night porter was very friendly and did everything he could to make us comfortable. The room and breakfast were very nice. Customer service all the way!
Excellent food, lovely staff. There are guided walks organised by Wolfgang who is an excellent guide. I really enjoyed getting to see the parts of the Alps where the cable cars couldn't go. I would definitely recommend the hotel and ask Wolfgang about the hikes, he seemed to have hikes for every level of fitness.
Great hotel with top notch service. You get champagne on arrival and a cute little complimentary cook book when you check out. Th spa and gym facilities were great. The meals (included) were surprisingly good. You get a 6 course dinner and buffet breakfast with your stay. The room was large and comfortable. Typical ski lodge decor which we didn’t mind.
We have just returned from a week in Zell am See, and couldn't be happier with our decision to stay at the Hotel Tirolerhof. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are great, it's a stone's throw from the stunning Lake Zell and the town centre, and the CityXpress lift is just a few minutes away. Our room was comfortable and spotless, with a lovely view of the mountains, and the hand-written welcome note was a nice touch. The food at the Tirolerhof is exceptional. There was a buffet for a couple of evenings, with the rest of the meals being à la carte (different options each day, which are chosen at breakfast). Our waitress was absolutely fantastic; we didn't catch her name, but her English and German was astounding, which she learned from watching television while growing up in Croatia. The pool and sauna/steam room facilities are excellent and, very importantly, free to use. There is also a quiet room, kitted out with beds and recliners, where you can relax and read. Unfortunately, the gym was a bit of a let down. It's more of a bit of spare space with some exercise equipment shoved in. It could be massively improved simply by getting rid of the antiquated 'multi-gym' and replacing in with even a single exercise bench and a set of decent dumbbells, up to about 15kg would do. The only other negative point is that there are no tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. Other than that, the Hotel Tirolerhof really is superb, and we were looked after very well.

Excellent hotel. Well located, with fantastic food, very clean and with excellent staff. A special mention to our waiter, Francisco, who was excellent and took very good care of us.
