Amazing views and great historical facts about the lake and it's origin. The mid day cruise on the MS DIXIE II was one for the books, super relaxing, especially up on the 3rd deck. Head to the gift shop where you can see the paddle wheel in FULL ACTION (something the kids will enjoy!) The drinks were meh, so I wouldn't waste time on em. If you have reservations make sure you say your last name clearly and spell it out when checking in, otherwise the old sea dog may throw a bit of a fit. The only great customer service received here was the gift shop attendant and photographer. I want to try the night cruise, but I'd definitely do the mid day again just to relax

Went on the noon cruise on Saturday 3.20.21 with family had a great time. Phenomenal views and decent food. If you have dark red curly hair and were sitting on the table of 5 while I was on line to get food please message me :). You were sitting across your friend wearing all black with black sunglasses.
I struggled to give this only 3 stars. The crew were friendly, the wait staff was quick and nice. The views were amazing! But... its a big but, the tour I took was labled a Dinner sunset cruise and the dinner was horrible quality, came out 60 dinners at a time, so I know its not easy, very cafeteria sequence, They could probably benefit from better wine selection. But don't offer a service that you can't deliver. The rib eye was thin and well cooked instead of med rare. Everything was cold. Fried chicken was soggy, and gravy was really bad, cheap . I would go back again for drinks and the band , the views of course. Not the food.
Peasant ride, good food, fantastic scenery! Especially informative, dare I say \educational\, Tahoe facts broadcasted over the PA. A great way to spend an afternoon and an experience not to miss.
Booked through third party. Wouldn't let us on the boat because the guy at the box office said he didn't have our reservation. He said \We'll do what we can to get you on.\ rudely and proceeded to do nothing to help find our reservation. Didn't try to call anyone or anything. We called the reservation hotline for this place and they were able to see our reservation just fine. But the boat already left. Trying to seek accomodation for this horrible treatment, especially the rude guy at the box office, and no one who works for this company can do anything so they referred me to a corporate customer service email. Absolute garbage. And the man at the box office should be fired.
