A unique menu with a great ambiance. Service staff go out of their way to make your experience memorable. Food presentation and taste was amazing. One critique, the music was 90’s pop and R&B so I thought it didn’t match the atmosphere for 1818.

Had a very nice dinner here. Service was attentive and kind and fun, the salad was delicious, our mains (short rib and turbot) were good although not terrific, the cocktail and dessert (just two scoops of incredible ice cream) were top notch. The decor is rustic, upscale and beautiful as well. Nice and quiet.

A very expensive burger and chips, it costs us almost 65 for 2 burgers and drinks. But I really love their chips taste really good! I don’t know if I will recommend this restaurant, but shout out to chips lol

Food was delicious. Steak with roughly 150g rather small. I was not even aware that such small cuts exist. The wine we had was in my opinion overpriced. Ambience in the alpine-rustic styled part of the venue is very beautiful and cosy, the other part of the venue has more of an office-like appearance. The 1818 would deserve a five star rating would they not have ruined the evening by letting in a big group of drunk people \celebrating\ a birthday and making so much noise while yelling and hollering around that a convenient conversation was not possible anymore. A venue that asks prices easily north of Fr. 200.- for a meal with wine and threatens one with a punishment of Fr. 80.- for cancelling the reservation or for showing up late should be more thoughtful of the crowd it lets in. Will never go there again.
