Wow what a great hotel and fantastic team of people. We visited for what was supposed to be 5 nights but extended to 8 because flights to the UK were all cancelled. This happened 2 times for us and of course a major concern was ‘where can we stay?’ The Elite team of Marianne and Annalena always took our stress level down and provided us with a calm ‘don’t worry you will be OK’ and offer to help with ‘anything’. They even discounted the cost for the extra nights which makes us feel forever loyal to this hotel and these people. We had a lovely junior suite with a view of the Matterhorn and this room is gorgeous with a lovely balcony - living area - great TV channel selection - nice big bathroom with giant shower. We also enjoyed the breakfast room and a very nice lady serving there. So all in all we could not recommend the Elite more and we have found our ‘home’ in Zermatt which we visit most years. Nice hotel in the centre of Zermatt, in short walk distance to the train station. Friendly and helpful! Very good price-performance ratio, booked a room with Matterhorn view, the room was recently renewed and spacious.
Was ok. Breakfast not as good as other Hotel in Zermatt.
Very nice hotel. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are in a good shape. The jacuzzi is awesome and a very good treat at the end of the day.
Very nice little hotel in Zermatt. Reasonably close to the train station for when you arrive and for the scenic train up for skiing. The funicular that takes you up to the sunnegga ski area is a shot walk away. If you ski down from the area closest to the Matterhorn there is a bus that will bring you very close (2 stops). Also the WiFi works now so disregard the previous reviews. The showers are very nice too.
Decent size room. Nice and clean. Pretty close to train station. Fair price. There is a supermarket nearby the hotel.
The hotel has a family-like atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The breakfasts (buffet style) were delicious and the rooms clean. We thought it was very reasonably priced (for Zermatt) and we would certainly stay there again.
