I visited Lowe's to get painting supplies for a project, and the employee who helped me was incredibly helpful with helping me find exactly what I needed! He was also very friendly and we talked about my project and how we were both fans of what I was working on. Highly recommend.

If you ever want the worst customer service experience of your life, go place a special order at Lowe’s. I’ve been waiting almost 3 months for a fence that was supposed to arrive in 4 weeks. I am told different stories every single time I call. Within a five minute time frame, one person said that my fence is there in the store and ready for delivery, but five minutes later, the assistant manager says none of it is in the store. The assistant manager keeps saying he has no information and no ETA. I called their corporate office and got an entirely different story. The Zionsville store never placed my order. All of the items are in stock, both at the distribution center and at nearby stores. The Zionsville store is unwilling to take any accountability or do anything to correct this problem, although they’ve had my 6000 for 3 months. They are unapologetic and don’t seem real eager to help resolve the problems they created. I have filed a BBB complaint and I email the manager and assistant manager daily, but still have no information or resolution. If you’re looking for somewhere to place a special order, take my advice and go somewhere else! It is not worth this hassle and horrid customer service.

Staff was very helpful! I had to replace the cord to my washer, the gentleman pulled out a washer to show me exactly what I would have to do!

This a great place for DIY. If you choose to do it yourself, you're not alone. There are plenty of staff, that know what they're talking about, to help you out. Again, like most places, go during off times. That way you're certain to get all the attention you need and the staff on hand is eager to help.
