Was just here with my girlfriend and we had a great experience! The restaurant opens at 7pm, so we spent some time at the La Fueta beach nearby which opened our appetite. The restaurant itself is very open and easy going, the service is very quick and gentle, the food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. We had the seafood risotto, tuna tartar, steamed mussels, and the apple crumble for dessert. Everything was worth trying, especially the risotto! Would definitely come back
This restaurant visit gave us a very bad first impression of Corsica. If the food and service would have been this terrible in every restaurant in Corsica, we would already have been on a plane back to the UK. Unfriendly waitress, weird atmosphere and we had to wait forever for our food. I believe they went fishing on the sea to get it, that is how long it took. Once our meals finally arrived, we could hardly stand the smell... Our stomachs turned immediately, the fish did not only smell bad, it looked horrible. Since we were very hungry, we still wanted to give it a try, but when cutting the fish it was clear it could not be eaten without getting sick. So we sticked to the vegetables and the rice, they didn't taste very well either but we had to eat something. A very bad experience that will be hard to forget. Wasted money!
Nice place, fast service but food not particular.
My other half and I dined at a lot of seafood restaurants while in Corsica, it was unfortunate we came here on our last night as we would of loved to come again. It was without doubt the nicest place we ate at, the quality of fish were great and the shellfish was fresh! It was nice to see the open kitchen and to watch a good chef at work, the service was great and personable. The price was fantastic for what you got too! The owners are doing a great job here. Oh and the best thing is that they have a giant shark (not real) out the front and a little boat in the middle of the restaurant.
Bad attitude from the main waiter when we told him that the profiterol was bad. He kept on holding his defending mode that it was good. He did not acknowledge it and kept on telling that others did not complain. What the hell of attitude!. The main problem with the profiterols was the puffs. The puffs were so hard inside. I have tried many profiterols since I like them so much and this was the worst so far. ADVISE for those profiterols 'lovers, order something else if you happened to be eating in this place.
