Horrible service! We booked an end-of-tenancy cleaning with warranty, one person came 1.5hrs late and wanted to leave earlier. The quality of the cleaning was horrible as there was still dust, crumbs in drawers, fat in the kitchen, leftover leaves in the balcony and a BIG scratch on one window. The cleaner said \don't worry they will not look there\ when we said that the flat is obviously not clean enough for a handover. We had booked the warranty for an extra 99chf that the customer service explained to us as if the cleaning is not adequate a person will stay longer to finish up the details. This not only did not happen we found the next day an extra charge in our credit card of 136 chf for \overtime work\ totally unexplained and without any notification. Don't book their service. Better get a professional cleaning company for the same amount of money.

I would not recommend this company. Very bad service! On the first day, the cleaning ladies left the apartment before we could inspect the cleaning. Only half of the work was done. There was even a fight between the 3 ladies and 1 person left without cleaning. The company then agreed to send someone over a day later, for an extra 2 hours to finish everything. That person came half an hour late, and she left 20 min early. So instead of 2 hours, she only worked 1h and 15 min. When I told her she needs to finish first, she said it was not her problem and left. She also showed me a message from her boss that she was allowed to leave. I could also read that her boss messaged her that they would only do something about the situation if we would call the company. So they knew it was not finished but did not care to come up with a solution. Finally they came a third time (luckily we paid for a warranty). This is really a bad company with a bad attitude. They have no interest in helping people. Their interest is in getting as much money as possible for the lowest effort. They hope people will not complain. The problem is also that you need to pay in advance. Also they don't know what a handover cleaning is. The filter of the dishwasher was not cleaned. Everything was very superficial. They also threw things in the bin, instead of cleaning it. Horrible experience!! It gave us a lot of stress! We had to clean half a day extra ourself! Unacceptable and actually a complete rip off!
I am so happy with Batmaids. Krisztina did an amazing job, paying exquisite attention to details. Everything was sparkling clean when I arrived after a 5-week trip. I will definitely call for another cleaning.
Quality of service and customer service are below average - cleaning quality overall low: surfaces not clean, floor not clean: example: cleaning the floor batmaid walks a vaccum around your objects and shoes, without moving anything, leaving dust in every corner - customer service is terrible: the only help I got was being told that I would have to pay for 1.5 additional months, whether the cleaner would show up again or be canceled, and that no replacement could be found for at least 6 weeks. Joke, right? You pay \u003e100 CHF for a cleaning, get someone who does not perform well with a vacuum cleaner, and service keeps emphasizing that you won't get help, including that you may cancel future cleanings only as long as you keep paying :)
**Update***: I would like to commend Batmaid on quickly reacting to and appropriately dealing with my complaint. I was contacted by management who sincerely apologised for the way the situation was dealt with initially. It really goes a long way when a company can acknowledge and rectify an issue without trying to pin the blame on something or someone else. Well done Batmaid. *** I attempted to have my apartment cleaned by Batmaid, however, the original appointment was cancelled because they couldn't find someone for that day. They cancelled 2pm the afternoon before the cleaning lady was supposed to come which left me with no choice but to wait for their next available cleaning lady which could only come the Saturday. This lady called me AT the time she was supposed to be at my house, lost, in the village next door. I called her numerous times explaining where I lived but she just never pitched. She didn't even call to apologise or say that she was going home. She only called after I told her I would be informing the agency. After informing the agency I just received a generic \sorry for the inconvenience\ email and they asked if I would like to reschedule. I reluctantly decided to give them another try. I had to reschedule our appointment with them due to a medical emergency but they assured me someone would come the next day. The day before I received a missed call from an unknown number, then again on the morning of the cleaning. Eventually I figured out it was the cleaning lady calling to cancel AGAIN. When emailing the agency to tell them what happened and to say I will not be using their services again, their consultant sent me the same generic message I received before. I do not recommend their services based on the amount of no shows - I would not be able to tell you how well they clean simply because nobody ever showed up.
out of 35 chf paid per hour, 20.80 chf go into the pocket of the cleaning people. maybe around 5-6 chf for insurance. the other 30% into the pockets if batmaid! considering that travelling and pauses are unpaid, administrative expenses minmal, this gets below minimum wage and can be considered the modern form of slavery in 2020...
