What an amazing place! The views are spectacular to say the least. Definitely not a cheap eats and drinks place but it's worth shelling out the cash for the experience. It's a very chill place, great for a cocktail or two. Older crowd with a few younger patrons during the evening. I must say, unfortunately my first visit the server I had (Brunette) was either having a bad day or hating life. She was so miserable during the service. Maybe they need to hire more help to relieve the employees who can't handle the stress during the busy hours. Fortunate enough I decided to give it a second chance and my new server (Curly Blond) was very delightful and courtious. Other than that place is amazing! Great views but the bar could be much more interesting. Somehow, the ambiance isn’t fully convincing, needs an upgrade.
What a view!!! Very nice and cosy circular little bar offering a 360 view of the city. Very friendly server and barman. They serve coffee and snacks- not a big selection, until 18:00. Entrance lift is located inside the Brasserie Lipp restaurant. Toilets can be found one floor below the bar and are accessible by stairs. Prices are a bit high. However 7 francs for a coffee while enjoying the view is worth it.
Best views in Zurich if you can afford the drinks.
The view from here is absolutely gorgeous, and the drinks are delicious. They can be on the pricey side but once you get the right drink it's worth the cost. With the right company, the view and drinks are enough for a great afternoon.
A few days away in Zürich found us sampling a few of the city’s bars. The Jules Verne panorama bar came with great recommendation so without haste we set off to check it out. Finding the door to this place is your first challenge and after a short while searching at street level we found that the entrance to the bar is via the lift that is situated in the cafe restaurant below it. Enter the lift and shoot to the top and you will find that you enter a small but classy bar with panoramic views over the old town. Food is available but we were there to drink and soak up the evening sun setting over this fantastic city. Great welcoming staff serving a good range of international wines & cocktails. Get there early to get the best window seats.
Best Panoramic view above of Zurich city. Classic and cosy bar with varied choices of drinks to chill with. We ordered After midnight and prince of Wales cocktails! Was amazing! Service was great! One of the best things to do in Zurich. Must do.
Unique space for a bar no doubt. Drinks are fine, but not amazing. You're paying for the experience
