Good morning all - just a quick message for those of you for possibly choosing SALT as an internet provider. While the company has been offering quite a "good" deal in relation to TV and fibre internet -- be aware that the customer service and (later on) the support can be astoundingly difficult! Having recently moved to Zurich - I called to have the internet changed to the new apartment 1 month in advance. Following the move, I plugged it in - and the ticket was not completed. I called, waited - and then was told that 60 days notice is required of a move. This is not what the customer support person told me up front. They then proceeded to finally schedule the move 3x weeks later. After another call to try to shorten the period - they offered a wifi hotspot for free, which stopped working after 3 days. This week, I've called, as I need a longer fiber cable. This time, they tell me that I HAVE TO BUY IT - all the while, I've been paying my subscription.. with no service. Quite ridiculous. Two lessons to take from this : (1). If you're moving, you need to schedule this 2 months in advance. (2). AVOID SALT - I've had swisscom and sunrise, both with much better service. 1 Personal berät ein Kunde. Warte über 15 Min. und die Beratung hört nicht auf, kein anderes Personal. Ich gehe zur Mobilzone werde sofort bedient, und kaufe dort.
An den besten Stv Filialleiter Memis - du hast mich top bedient. Freundlich, ehrlich, hilfsbereit, kompetent und mit viel Freude. Komme gerne wieder.
