I have received multiple procedures, treatments and surgeries at Balgrist Universitätsklinik. Every experience has been positive and the outcomes of my surgeries have been completely successful. In addition to the outstanding medical team, I would like to compliment all the support staff - especially those in the International Office. My limited German was never a problem as they communicated with me in English and expertly guided me through every procedure. I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care I’ve received at Balgrist and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hospital to any one.

BALGTIST TEC DISASTER! We used to produce our shoe sole there every year and the service was slow but quite good. This year it took 2 months to produce it WRONG TWICE!! They keep on producing wrong dimension, wrong height and wrong material. The customer service /admin does not feel responsible and says that she needs to talk to the technician and then to the shop and then then then... they never called me back, I am the one calling and writing every 2 days to get an update trying to solve the problem. The foot scan was done wrong, they even put the shoe on the scan instead of the foot: a disaster! Something has changed, in a VERY VERY BAD WAY!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! completely unprofessional from every point of view.

Circus Life

Together with my partner Goncalo Roque we came to the hospital in the emergency situation by ambulance. All the stuff working was really amazing and took really good care of us. As Goncalo is portuguese they surprisingly had a lot of nurses and staff talking portuguese which just made the whle time so nice and easy. (mostly nurse Judite Rodrigues ) In overall we wanted to thank especially to Dr. Nora Wieloch and Cronelia Goller who was with us from the beginning through the whole process, managing and making sure we have everything we needed. Cornelia and dr Nora were just incredible. Normally hospitals made me think of sad, depressing, cold atmosphere but this one here was completely different. Dr Nora and Cornelia took care of us with so much heart, feelings and sensibility. Relation between the patient and doctor ment a lot to them as we really felt like we are home with a good friends. I wish that we and more hospital like this one where the people working influence a lot and make that huge change regarding conection, prospectives and the treatment process.

Excellent hospital! I had knee surgery in the Uniklinik Balgrist and since the moment of the first visit to the recovery process everything went very smooth and was very professional. I felt I was very carefully diagnosed and I was answered all questions regarding surgery very patiently. I was given very clear explanations by the whole team, from the volunteers at the door to the nurses, secretary, doctors, anesthesists and technical orthopedics team. My hospitalization time was also very nice, I was very well taken care of by the nurses and the hostelry teams, and had physiotherapy and technical orthopedists instructions from the first moment - showing me how to work with the crutches, helping me etc. I am doing all the physiotherapy in Balgrist and I'm extremely satisfied with the process so far. Overall I can say I had an excellent experience and would repeat with no doubts. Thank you!
