Good restaurant. Good food with some inspiration, friendly service (unfortunately something not very common in Zurich). Expect to spend at least 50 CHF per person.

Adorable spot. Well seasoned food. Fresh from the market flavors. Great service. Solid people watching. Quaint outdoor space. The basil risotto is incredible!

Authentic old-fashioned Swiss restaurant. Basic food, very nice staff, reasonable prices. Great place for lunch or an evening of food, beer, and friends. A classic. Hence the 5 stars

“Classic traditional Swiss Meal”. True traditional swiss meal. This restaurant is so Swiss in every detail. Small tables and squeezed against a wall, waiters polite and nice, and very swiss... The atmosphere was warm and I loved it, and the food was delicious. The selection of wines was impressive from the "house wine" up to stellar prices. Very good food and authentic atmosphere.Very old traditional restaurant. The restaurant has a nice feel to it and is clearly popular with locals. Book ahead if you plan to.

We accidentally came upon some outdoor tables for this restaurant on a small street in the Old Town. Expecting only an average meal, we were surprised at the top notch quality of the food, including the most tender and delicious asparagus au gratin we've ever eaten, as well as a wonderful mixed salad with chicken that also excelled anything we had anywhere elsewhere. This is a great place to eat.
