Woko housing administration was very generous, responsive and humanitarian. I had a health issue for sometime and they helped me through nicely. I'm grateful. Great studio I had in an amazing location and very affordable price in comparison to zurich.

Shameless organization, they haven’t fixed the hot water problem for months in the whole property at Meierwiesenstrasse 62 and it is just too often that the tenants don’t even have hot water for a shower. No rent reduction for this until now, questions are not really answered and only my/our understanding for such a situation is needed. One star is just too many :) A real eye-opener in Switzerland!

Even though it is an agency/organization meant for students, they don't try to help you, rather the opposite, they use any opportunity to take your money. Rude staff, not welcoming or helpful.

Horrible experience. They are 100% money driven, they don't care at all about their tenants. I lived in the new building in Uetlibergstrasse 111. We had several issues and took several emails to get a partial answers to minor issues. Nobody ever took responsibility even though in clear disagreement with the contract. The building manager is incredibly rude, inconsistent, unprofessional and racist (even though I'm from Switzerland but not from Zurich). They take advantage of students. After two semesters I couldn't stand their unprofessional and rude behavior and I moved out. Definitely stay away!

Affordable Housing - but that is all the reason you should ever consider going there (and for two rather than one star). The organisation is extremly unprofessional. If you need anything from then, it takes forever. They write you rude E-Mails, trying to bully you into complying with sometimes unjustified requests. They violate their own contracts (Example: Once a semester you have to allow them to check your appartment for cleanliness & if they are unhappy the deploy a cleaning institute - this is fine and in your contract, however they also have in the contract that if you miss something they check for, you will get a second date up to which you have to fix it before they can deploy the cleaning institute - and they just removed that unilaterally insisting (rudely as ever) that they would deploy a cleaning institute right away, if something is not okay the first go around). And the people they have on the phonelines if you need to call them seem, while friendly, also not really qualified for their job.

Horrible company. Terrible service. Rude staff who do NOT help students. They just want money from students and think because they are letting out affordable housing they can bully students. HORRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY!!!!!

Terrible company, administration and service, and i regret so much that i chose them. I lived at their student housing on Cäsar-Ritz-Strasse. They day i arrivedi could clearly see that they haven't done anything to clean or maintain my room. There were remains of old posters and stickers, that they haven't removed and the walls haven't been painted. The bedslats keep on breaking. The kitchen was unequiped for over a month! They kept on coming with the same excuse, that they didn't recieve anything from IKEA and that they had to re-order all items again three times! The elevator has been broken for 2 years now, and they have no intentions of fixing it in the nearest future. The housing office is only open ONCE a week for 30 minutes! At the end of it all, they will charge a "cleaning fee" of 226 CHF from your deposit, which i know they won't use to fix anything in the room for the next tenant. Stay away from this fraudulent company, if you have your money dear. They will charge you a hefty monthly rent for extremely bad rooms at the edge of the city. Find accomodation on your own, even if it's more expensive.
