In this tourist information center you get well informed about all attractions in Avila.

Visited Avila march 2016. Like so much in Spain, a good experience could have been a great experience if there was a little information out there, some signs at least. It seems that possible the tourism officials all must live locally and know everything, then expect everyone to know as well.. Maybe if they first had to work in a different province they would know what we tourists have to contend with. Spain has some great things, LET PEOPLE KNOW, don't just expect them to turn up, we are not psychic

Layout needs a rethink. People keep running into each other as the try to enter and exit through the tiny door. Also, if you want to access the city walls, you'll queue downstairs to ask, then again upstairs to pay. Bring a drink and a snack - the queue can certainly quite long and slow

unfriendly, unprofessional, bad organised, 3 employees hanging around nothing to do, observing their two colleagues who are working hard to handle the endless queue of tourist who want to walk on to wall, no info published - no signs, church is translated with temple

Llegamos con dudas y interés sobre la provincia: las rutas que hacer, la gastronomía, el enoturismo, etc. Nos atendieron de manera muy amable, pero en vez de contestar nuestras preguntas nos dijeron de mirar la página web de la diputación provincial. En este caso, cuál es el valor añadido de una oficina de turismo presencial ? A lo mejor el personal necesita formación para desarrollar su conocimiento del territorio y poder proporcionar información de calidad.

Nous souhaitions faire le tour des remparts, l'hôtesse d'accueil nous a gentiment proposé de revenir une heure plus tard pour profiter de la gratuité de l'entrée. Le point de vue sur la ville et la zone est magnifique.
