Fantastic meal, great wine by the glass, and beautiful room and fine service. A must if you love great food. 3 course was only 450, which we thought was well worth it.

There were some flaws in the service that I don’t think appropriate for the level of service they aim to achieve. For instance, I ordered a glass of red wine which wasn’t served in front of me. And the wine wasn’t at the proper temperature (too warm). The waiter serving us never presented the dishes of the tasting menu, as it’s usual in these kind of restaurants. The food was very good, and the price is quite expensive. Reservation highly recommended.

A good experience. I'm not a local, first time in Ålesund for a weekend but totally coming back. The restaurant looks modern with good taste, the service is good and the food at the same level. Had the 5 dishes option, mainly fish based and very fresh, I grew up with fish in Portugal. Had a seat in the window, because we arrived at 1915, has a relaxed feeling.
