Newly renovated modern design hotel offering lovely views in the heart of the old town. EU style breakfast buffet focuses on traditional plus made to order English style. Fresh cut meats and cheeses are a nice touch. Rooms are lightly furnished but clean and comfortable with generous size bathroom. Several elevators for good accessibility. Meeting room is well sized for hotel with 2 large sitting rooms available as well. TV selection is very limited but ok. Parking is at a premium in a shared lot adjacent to hotel. Cost is 250NOK/day.

Built in 1904 after the Great fire took out the Ålesund. Lovely art pieces and book collection. Rooms are spacious. Food is nice too.
Really good food and service
A very nice hotel at a great location. Impressive breakfast and great service. We were twice unhappy with our room, once because it was too close to the road works (August 2019), and the second room faced south and was very hot (on a rare sunny day). The room we got at the end was facing north and when you open the window it's like turning on the air-conditioner. The room was very large, could have easily accommodated 4. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there and warmly recommend the hotel. Note, the hotel does not offer parking. But an underground parking is available with a direct lift into the hotel. The price is up to 250 NOK per day.

Nice hotel. The building itself is a beautiful older building. The staff here is polite and helpful. Bathrooms are small but have heated floors. Parking is easy with the parking garage but expensive! Easy walking to all of Ålesund.
This is a very nice hotel in the center of town. The rooms are good with a good breakfast.
Stayed there for 1 night and it was great. We had a beautiful room , which was spacious. The hotel is at a good location also very close to a mall and right across the street from a cinema.
