Ordered a Taxi on a Sunday at around 5 pm, after one hour of waiting we canceled the trip and booked another company that arrived within 10 minutes.

One of your drivers is very unprofessional in particular the chubby old one from Poland....he drives extremely slow. The first time I booked him, he drove me to a place and i was charged kr 199 ( I was happy because we were on time and the price was reasonable). However, on my way back from the same place, he was the driver sent to pick me up again. This time, he drove very slow. He charged me more than kr 350 for the same distance and I didn't even make him wait. I was shocked! On the other occasions it has been the same. Your driver drives extremely slow, two times slower than the bus...then why should we book your taxi if the bus is faster than you and also end up missing our entire appointment. He also insults other passerby drivers. Teach your drivers to be professional regardless of their customer. Am so disappointed.
The App, “Taxifix” works quite well in Alesund. You can pay by credit card similar to Uber. Drivers are friendly. We spent the day with one driver, “Joe”, Taxi ID “T-10” Driver ID 400010. We drove to Valldal, he bought us strawberries, took us to a ropes course (worth a visit with kids and teens, safe and professional), then went through Trollistegen, and back to town. It was a very fair price (someone else asked for significantly more for a similar trip). Also, my daughter left her phone in Trollistegen and he picked it up the next day for us and dropped it off at our hotel. I paid in advance as we were gone all day. Call and ask for this driver specifically if you want a longer trip.
