After visiting the castle just go to the Place next door for a coffee, lunch etc. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Splendid view from the terrace. Parking nearby, inside and outside of the village. Terrace accessible for wheelchairs, toilet might be a problem (steps). Two apartments which have the same splendid view. Recommended.

Great views, very friendly owners good food location central for day trips
Passing through the area and found this gem of a tiny town (? 45 houses in total), the heart of which has the castle sat prominently on the hill. The Place is conveniently located just next to the castle and is run by a lovely couple. Highly recommend having the burger whilst enjoying a beverage and the incredible view.
Fabulous room, amazing view, great food and service, way above expectations. Very friendly staff, beautifull and nicely decorated and a gorgeous night sky filled with millions of stars. I would definitely recommend 10/10.
Such a stunning place to stay and unwind (or decompress as some prefer to say). Vicky & Mitch have gone to a huge effort to renovated the building into a delightful guesthouse and café within the 12-century castle walls. Three of the four rooms have large balconies with an outstanding view of the rural Alentejo plains below. All rooms and the café's terrace face due west so you can enjoy the sunset. Private transport is a must to enjoy the area, and access restaurants in the surrounding villages and towns.

Great food, amazing view and the best wines. And then a beautiful castle.
The place is a really nice place to arrive and just enjoy looking at the views and enjoying the stay.
