Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport (IATA: LCJ, ICAO: EPLL), formerly known as Łódź-Lublinek Airport, is a regional airport in central Poland, located approximately 6 km (3.7 mi) southwest of Łódź city center and about 1.5 km (0.93 mi) away from the Retkinia block housing estate. Łódź ranked 8th among Polish airports in 2013 in passenger numbers. The airport has been in operation since 13 September 1925 and has recently undergone a number of upgrades, enabling it to handle services by low cost airlines to destinations in Europe.

Not the best airport out there, but I love that it is quiet and it is not crowded. Usually has less than 10 flights a day. I would prefer a few more shops, but I guess it makes sense to only have a few with the amount of people coming the airport every day.

This is small airport , modern, with a lot of little shops. It is well connected to the heart of the city of Lodz so if you have a spare time , it is worth to see. It has good facilities , clear information system and very clean. The security checks are done pretty fast so there is no long waiting queues which is really good. For the arriving passengers with small children there is separate line to passport control which speeds things up. I had good experience when I arrived and I would recommend this airport. You also have free wifi if you need to use internet.

Laguage control takes too long

No problems during flights. Just a small airport with a small offer of destinations. Maybe after some time it will be better

Small airport and quite easy to find your way around. Taxi rank outside, about 25 zloty to the city centre (Lodz Galleria) in a comfortable large Mercedes. It cost me slightly more for the taxi going back there (different company, maybe drop off charges?). As with many of these small airports, there are not many shopping facilities.
