I had dinner in this place for the first time in SAMARKAND, when I entered to the restaurant I have faced with a respectful,smart and hospitality person (Mr Shah Baz) who is student of economic. I really appreciate his ethics and hospitality and I wish for him for a success life. Please go to this place if you coming to SAMARKAND you will enjoy an amazing food in a beautiful quite place with respectful staffs. Food simply good. Atmosphere: ? Could have been the season, there was no one. First staff member was very non-communicative, then a second one stepped in. Much better. No menu in English. Several items not available. Awkward conversation. Confusion all around and staff wanted to go eat themselves. I am 99% certain this is a good restaurant, and that I just came by at the wrong time (Dec 29th). The available food was really good.
The Lagman very delicious especially something like chili paste(serve as side) Service is good from the young boy and it seem that also very popular spot for local. I ate there twice but on my second day the change is incorrect. I only checked when i leave the place.. my bad. so check you change before you leave that place. I read some review mention that there is no 10%. This is incorrect as they do charge 10 same as other restaurant in Samarkand.
Had two delicious bowls of lagman, a plate of dumplings, a pot of tea and bread for just 35,000 som! Unbelievable prices, friendly service and fantastic food!
A simple place with pretty good food. The music was a bit loud, but that is not unusual :)
Good Uzbek Food Experience. Ordered lamb shashlik, salad, bukhara plov and bread. Food was good and staff was decent.
I didn’t understand why it had such high ratings on tripadvisors when I first got in. It’s in a more fancy area so it seems things aren’t as cheap as they normally could be for local dining. The menu was in Russian or Uzbek and without photos. It was a little difficult to order because of that and I nearly left due to that. If you press through and give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed. They seem to have a special sauce on top of the lagmar and on the side for shashliq. Just want to say of all the lagmars I had in Tajikistan and xingjiang, this is the best I’ve ever had. Loved the sauce for the shashliq too needless to say. They don’t have the extra 10% like some places so you pay what you see on the menu. Can’t recommend it enough!
Great place, beautiful ambience and nice decor. Perhaps one of the best restaurants and food in whole of Uzbekistan. Food was really awesome and delicious. Service was excellent and staff was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Good place for partying with family and friends. One who enjoys going out, must go there.
