The rice bowl was good but rats playing with ones shoes killed everything. Never again. And people dare to call Japan the cleanest of countries. Probably, if their rats are also as clean as their street asphalt. Service by the old woman was nice though. Quiet pricey though.

Friendly price and fresh foods rice bowls. It was so quick service and free miso soup and tea. They has Chinese staff as well.
Fresh salmon and tuna sashimi and donburi at outer Tsukiji Market. We went there 17 May 2019, ordered salmon and tuna donburi 700Yen (1 egg roll/tamago sashimi, 3 slices of tuna sashimi, 3 slices of salmon sashimi, and big portion of seasoning rice with seaweed flakes), additional topping for hubby as he would like to eat sashimi only without rice (end up he helped me finished my rice as my donburi came with big portion of rice): 3slices of salmon sashimi 300Yen and 3 slices of tuna sashimi 300Yen. The miso soup (free of charge) is also tasty. Cold and hot ocha is complimentary. We went there for lunch, many people eat there but no queue as we faced during my previous visit in 2014 if I'm not mistaken before the tuna auction was moved from Tsukiji Market.
Not the best choice to eat in Tsukiji if you want the freshest fish. Many better choices IMO. (6.5/10). It's not bad but this is tsukiji, i expect freshness.
Enjoyed a wonderful sake oyakodon with some otoro and miso soup there last year that was good value, so fresh and so delicious. The owner made sure I had enough space, that my belongings were stored and that I was warm enough with the electric heater. Had a lovely chat with the owner after the meal! I promised her I'd return next time with family when I'm in the area. Great food, great hospitality, great lunch
