Definitely recommend this rental shop for hanbok. They have many colors to choose from and also assist you in pairing top and skirt. Even if its quite a walk from the palace.

I went there with my sister few days ago, after we were done dressing up and leaving the store, the owner ran out from the coffee shop downstairs and helped us to fix the ribbon tied behind our costumes, he also pointed us the right way to get to gyeongbuk gong. After we finished photo shooting and went back to the store, the zip of my own dress was broken and I could not walk out with a wide open dress, two of the employees were very kind and spent time to try to fix my dress even if they were not required to, they also offered me a shirt and said I could just take it, but I refused since they were so helpful and friendly.
I have been there twice and friendly clerks offer beautiful costume. Go and try it
