The best meal we had our entire trip in Japan. From the interior setting to the service and ultimately the food, everything was so well judged - felt warm and friendly and every dish was attentively delivered. The only place on our trip that i can truly say will not disappoint.

An incredible experience in terms of food, service, and atmosphere. The restaurant is unlabeled in English and unlike the ones adjacent does not have a menu outside. It takes a second to find - just zoom in max on google maps and it'll be clear. It's well worth it. There dining room is gorgeous. Then menu has great diversity. We choose from throughout the menu and everything was delicious. Recommending especially: the eggplant and the simmered pork. The staff was so lovely - attentive without being intrusive. We were chatting with the staff and I asked them if they knew of any tofu restaurants. He wasn't sure but later in the meal he returned and had a list he secured from surveying the other members of the team! Excellent. For those curious/hesitant about price, it's not daunting at all. We shared a few plates, had dessert and a drink each and it worked out to US35pp.
Best dinner of the trip so far. 8-9.000 yen per person (set menu was 11.000). Delicious. Recommended for an special occasion

Best meal of our 3-week long honeymoon in Japan. We chose the 6200 yen preset dinner of 9 courses and every course was beautiful, delicious and much bigger in portion size than expected! The dinner ended with pealed grapes covered in a port wine jelly. It was divine. The service was impeccable. We'll definitely be back!
