I was so lucky that I had the lunch there without reservation couple days ago. Absolutely the best meal in my Kyoto trip. I would buy the cod fish back to Hong Kong but the sales told me that I couldn't keep it long without a fridge.

Delicious food with seasonal ingredients. It's traditional kaiseki-style food, so several dishes with very unique flavors. They have an English menu, so go for it if you like it!

You can enjoy traditional Japanese KAISEKI dishes for less than 5,000 yen. They are really great for money. The signature dish \saikyo-yaki\ (miso marinated grilled fish) is especially awesome.
