You don’t have to Tokyo for quality kaiseki. You don’t have to pay lots of money to have most authentic kaiseki. And you don’t have to go find another kaiseki restaurant. Because Ookawa is the best of the best for its price. I have come here twice now; every each time has been the utmost pleasantly both culinary and spiritual pleasure. Each dish is quintessentially prepared and carefully served with beautiful Japanese food wares. I also love the representation of each dish which is very seasonal that you never get bored of coming back here. Don’t be cheap ordering a reasonable course here cuz nothing can be cheaper than their quality kaiseki served by such a highly trained chief.

横浜にこういう店できて欲しかった。 鯖寿司はしっかりと鯖に味が入っていてそのまま頂けます。 ホスピタリティも良く、通いたい店。 ただ、、焼き魚に火が入りすぎと感じます。 先日の焼き魚については満点。お昼の5000円のコースを頂きましたが、辛口でいうともう少しお造りのグレードを上げても良いのかなと。。すみません。 だいぶ認知度が上がって繁盛している様子です、 今回は山菜が多かったせいか、お腹に余裕がありました。
味はもちろん、接客、雰囲気どれも素晴らしい。 良い事があった日に、行きたくなるお店です。 お茶の一滴からも情熱が伝わってきます。
仕事関係の送別会で、初めてお店に行きました。すべてのお料理が美味しくて、女将さんをはじめお店の方の気遣いが素晴らしいです。楽しくて美味しい時間を過ごせました。
美味しいです。 馬車道に行ったら、また行きたい。 二人でしたが、個室でのんびりできて良かったです。
